I think music is an ongoing thing. I try to stay motivated to listen to my music daily. When I produce it is not too difficult for me to stay motivated. I genuinely enjoy the process.
My love for the creative process is so strong! So as far as growing my passion for producing it goes, I think it’s important to keep learning how to make the process easier and better.
- Get better at learning the eq
- Find a daw that you love. Mine is ableton.
- Practice, practicing your own style of music and making beats
- Staying positive under stressful conditions
Growing as a producer takes time
You can sometimes tell if you have a song that is going to be a hit – but I don’t know everytime.
It’s only when I put the song out into the market and get feedback that Ill be able to tell. In these situations it is better to trust the process then to rely on intuition . And produce a lot of music.
Theres not an exact formula I use to make hits. And there’s a lot of trial and error that occurs.
Fortunately for me I have #ableton which makes it easier to get into the rhythm of producing quality music.
Im grateful to be able to make the music I do because I been going through a lot lately
I learned over the years how important it is not to take my life for granted because it can taken away at anytime!
I often times take my time for granted which is why I have chosen to be more intentional about the opportunities that come my way. I now make music with a passion and intense focus because I want to make the best use of my time and talents.
When my time is up here on earth I want to look back and say damn..
I made a lot of music!
